About Me — Freelance Data Annotator for AI & Machine Learning
Powering next-gen AI through precise and reliable data annotation.

Who I Am
I’m a freelance data annotator with more than 12 years of hands-on experience supporting AI, machine learning, and computer vision teams worldwide. My background spans multiple industries, and I specialize in transforming raw data into clean, structured training datasets that help engineers build accurate and reliable models.
Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how precise labeling shapes the success of every AI project. Whether the task involves complex image segmentation, detailed text annotation, or sensitive audio labeling, I work with consistency, accuracy, and a deep respect for data quality.
What Sets Me Apart
Over time, I’ve developed what I like to call an “annotation sense” — a mix of intuition and precision that allows me to make quick, accurate decisions without second-guessing. This skill has led to me being consistently selected for QA teams, where I’m trusted with reviewing work and maintaining top-tier data quality.
I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and understand how crucial clean data is for training reliable AI models. From identifying subtle audio differences to distinguishing crops from weeds in aerial imagery, I approach each task with care and focus.
Key strengths:
Proven track record in computer vision annotation, NLP annotation, and model validation
High accuracy and consistency, even under tight deadlines
Quick to adapt, eager to learn, and open to feedback
Strong communication, especially in QA processes
Familiarity with a wide range of annotation tools
Flexible availability, including for urgent batch labeling
If you’re looking for someone who values precision, efficiency, and quality, I’m confident in my ability to deliver results that meet and exceed expectations.
Projects I’ve Contributed To
Here’s a quick overview of some of the projects and industries I’ve supported:
1. SIL International – Semantic Textual Similarity for Bible Translation
I contributed to a Christian non-profit initiative dedicated to making the Bible more accessible through translation efforts. As part of this work, I also participated in Semantic Textual Similarity (STS) tasks—analyzing pairs of sentences to assess how similar their meanings were, regardless of wording. This required a deep understanding of language, nuance, and context to support more accurate and meaningful translations.
2. Flock Safety – Audio Annotation (Gunshot Detection)
I contributed to an audio-based public safety system designed to detect and locate gunfire in real time. My role involved audio annotation of gunshots, fireworks, vehicle sounds, and human voices. These labeled datasets helped train models that alert emergency services within seconds, improving urban safety.
3. Cortexia – Advanced Image Annotation & Semantic Segmentation
For a smart city platform focused on urban cleanliness, I performed image annotation and semantic segmentation of street litter using polygons and bounding boxes. This work helped train AI models that support cleaner, more efficient, and sustainable city environments.
4. Microwork.io– Computer Vision Annotation for the Fashion Industry
I worked with Microwork.io, a San José–based company creating AI training data for computer vision projects across fashion and retail. Over five years, I contributed to multiple projects on their in-house platform, including a long-term Fashion Project focused on clothing and footwear annotation. My role involved organizing fashion items into clear categories and maintaining consistent, high-quality labeling. This work supported the creation of clean datasets used to train accurate and reliable AI models.
5. SCANDIT – Retail Product Annotation for Smart Shelf Recognition
I worked on annotating retail shelf images for product recognition, supporting mobile scanning and inventory automation tools.
Advanced data annotation techniques are essential for modernizing retail operations, and this project directly contributed to that shift. By accurately labeling products in both images and videos, we helped retailers enhance customer interaction and adapt to evolving consumer behavior.
6.Core Geosystems – Geological Data Logging
I worked with Kore Geosystems, a mining-technology company developing AI tools for geological core analysis. As a geological data labeler, I annotated drill core images to identify fractures, damage, and rock conditions, helping train Spector AI models. I also corrected AI predictions to improve model accuracy and contributed to building reliable datasets for AI-assisted core logging. In addition, I supported platform setup by organizing lithology codes and ensuring clean, error-free logging configurations. This work required precision, consistency, and close collaboration with geologists and data scientists.
A Bit About Me
When I’m not labeling data or reviewing annotations, I’m usually outdoors—cycling through nature or exploring new trails. I especially enjoy traveling with my bike, discovering scenic routes in different countries. It’s how I recharge: combining movement, freedom, and adventure.
I’m also passionate about art and love visiting museums and exhibitions whenever I can. And when it’s time to unwind, you’ll often find me reading horror novels that stir the imagination and keep me on the edge of my seat.
In my free time, I volunteer with non-profit organizations focused on protecting animals and the environment. I support them by building WordPress websites, optimizing SEO, and handling digital marketing strategies. Currently, I’m also learning Python to expand my expertise in AI and machine learning—fields I care deeply about and am excited to grow in professionally.
Continuous learning and meaningful contribution matter to me, both in my work and in how I spend my time. Whether it’s delivering clean data or helping a non-profit amplify its voice, I always bring focus, heart, and curiosity to the table.
Let’s create accurate, high-quality data together.
If you’re looking for a dependable data annotator for your next project, feel free to reach out — I’d love to help your model perform better.
